Current business climate calls for increasingly creative ways of empowering your assets and unlocking the value of your property. Licensing allows you to maintain control over your property, whilst often benefitting your brand with means and time far beyond what you could have provided using only in-house means. This could enable you to;

  • reach territories that had previously been out of reach
  • reach diverse market segments previously unavailable
  • build up priceless goodwill in your trademarks or products

We can draft a Licensing agreement to meet the needs of your business. The scope of quality control can be drafted to suit your needs, minimum sale figures can realistically be included and most of all, we can build on your existing business model.

The type and scope of Licence granted by such an agreement will vary hugely depending on your long term aspirations.

  • A non-exclusive licence allows you to grant multiple licences. This would create competition between the licensees.

  • An exclusive licence would mean that the licensee is the only party legally permitted to use the Licensed property.
  • A sole licence means that Clean the Licensor as well as the Licensee is permitted to use the licensed property.

We will not only offer invaluable advise as to licence types, but we can go one step further and consider territory restrictions and fields of use; all which can strengthen the control of your brand.
